<p>A method for making an ambidextrous working glove having textured inner and outer surfaces comprises dipping a former with a textured surface into a coagulant solution. The former is then dried and dipped into a first polymer solution of latex or synthetic rubber copolymer. After drying and washing the first polymer coating, the former is dipped into a second polymer solution which may be a polyurethane solution. The glove may then be cured and washed before being stripped from the former. The surface of the former may have a fish scale-textured surface. A glove produced by this method with a textured outer and inner surface enables a wearer to adequately grip items which may be slippery and also reduces the likelihood of slippage of the wearer's hand inside the working glove.</p> |
