The present invention relates to a method for mass producing adventitious roots of Astragali radix. The method comprises: (a) a step for removing microorganisms by sterilizing seeds of Astragali radix; (b) a step for inducing germination of the sterilized Astragali radix seeds; (c) a step for inducing adventitious roots from the germinated Astragali radix using plant hormones; (d) a step for liquid culturing the induced adventitious roots; and (e) a step for treating the cultured adventitious roots with an elicitor and incubating in a bioreactor, thereby being able to mass producing the astragaloside IV-enriched adventitious roots of Astragali radix.
