PANE WITH LIGHT-TRAPPING SURFACE STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent pane made of glass or synthetic material, which allows a thermal treatment and hardening of the glass without warping and creates good light-trapping properties by linear structural components.SOLUTION: In the transparent pane, groups (2) of parallel components (1) are formed globally on a surface of a substrate, and the orientation of longitudinal extension of the components alternates from one group to the next. Moreover, the components can include a curvature superimposed on their longitudinal extension, so that a non-oriented reflected image with a weak screen effect can be obtained. The pane is preferably used as a cover for photovoltaic components designed to use solar energy and can be also used for a decorative purpose in the construction industry (for glazed doors or glass panes for ornament cabinets).
