<p>PURPOSE: To provide a stapling device equipped with an enhanced easiness in operating and handling, by informing the user that the remaining quantity of staples attains a specified value, and thereby eliminating necessity for replacement of staple cartridge on the way of the stapling mode. CONSTITUTION: A stapling device comprises a staple cartridge 6 to accommodate staples which are coupled in a string and shaped like a belt, a feeder claw furnished on the cartridge 6 to send out the coupled staples one by one, the second block to drive the fed staple from the tip into sheets provided so that they are bound together, a photo-sensor S mounted on the cartridge 6 to sense passage of the final staple, and the first display part 16 to display for the user that the remaining quantity of staple has attained the specified value.</p> |
