<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem of a conventional power demand prediction device for predicting the power demand accurately by using the predicted value of temperature, that the predicted temperature is acquired over the Internet, but when predicting power demand in a building or home, connection with the Internet may often be impossible from the viewpoint of security, and thereby high accuracy power demand prediction in an environment not connected with the Internet is needed.SOLUTION: Highly accurate prediction of power demand in an environment not connected with the Internet is achieved by acquiring the data having correlation with temperature change in the future, e.g., the amount of power generated from solar panels, from the inside and outside of a building, predicting the temperature in the future on the basis of the correlation of the data thus acquired and the temperature change up to now, and then predicting the power demand in the future by using the temperature thus predicted.</p> |
