PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock unit for a vehicle capable of suppressing water from flowing toward a support shaft made of metal when the water sticks on a cover member right above a hook and a pole while a door is located at a full-closing position.SOLUTION: A lock unit for a vehicle includes: a support case 26B fixed to one of a vehicle body and a door 12; a pair of support shafts 34B and 42B made of metal; a hook 35 which is supported rotatably on one support shaft; a pole 45 which is supported rotatably on the other support shaft; and a cover member 70B which closes an opening formed in an upper surface of the support case. The cover member includes ceiling plate parts 70a and 70c positioned right above the hook and pole when the door is in a closed state, and the ceiling plate parts have recessed parts 70c for temporary water storage which are recessed toward a hook side and a pole side. |
