This liquid-level detection device detects the height of the surface of a liquid stored in a container (90). Said liquid-level detection device is provided with the following: a float (55) that floats on the surface of the liquid; a rotating body (50, 56) that rotates as the float (55) moves up and down and has a rotating contact part (57); a support (40) that has a support contact part (46a, 46b) that is located on the rotational path of the rotating contact part (57) so as to restrict rotation of the rotating body (50, 56) in a specific direction (SRD) via contact with the rotating contact part (57) and rotatably supports the rotating body (50, 60); and an attachment member (30, 230, 330) that has an attachment contact part (36, 238, 336) that contacts the rotating body (50, 56) when same rotates in the specific direction (SRD), thereby preventing the rotating contact part (57) from contacting the support contact part (46a, 46b), and is attached to the support (40). |
