PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably transmit a request signal between a reader and a wireless tag in a wireless tag system for transmitting the request signal to the wireless tag from the reader by an electromagnetic induction system.SOLUTION: A wireless tag system is constituted of a wireless tag installed on an underground facility or on a road facility of a road and a reader mounted on a vehicle passing the vicinity of the underground facility or the road facility. A request signal is transmitted from the reader by a predetermined frequency, a response signal is transmitted from the wireless tag having received the request signal, and the response signal is received by the reader. In the wireless tag system, the request signal is transmitted by an electromagnetic induction system via a power transmission coil connected to the reader and a power receiving coil connected to the wireless tag. The power transmission coil is attached to the vicinity of a window glass in a rear part inside the vehicle with its opening face inclined in a left, right, upward, or downward direction with respect to the rear direction of the vehicle, and is fitted to a position at which a part or the whole of magnetic lines of force to be generated passes through the window glass and is directed in a direction where the power receiving coil of the wireless tag is present. |
