A system and a method for searching contents are provided to transmit current location information with the header of the HTTP request message. A communications terminal(110) performs a connection with a web server(120). Thereafter, the communications terminal current location information is grasped(213). At this time, according to global positioning system data which the communications terminal is received from the GPS satellite, the location information is grasped. And the communications terminal adds the location information to the header of the HTTP request message(215). Moreover, the communications terminal transmits the HTTP request message with the web server(217). And the web server searches the contents based on the target location information(221). |
