1. An organic electroluminescence display panel, comprising:
a substrate; a thin-film transistor layer formed above the substrate; a planarizing film formed above the thin-film transistor layer; an electrode layer above the planarizing film; a plurality of contact holes in the planarizing film via which a wire is disposed such that the thin-film transistor layer is in electrical contact with the electrode layer; and a bank having repellency on at least one surface, the bank being formed above the electrode layer and having openings arranged in rows and columns that define regions for forming organic electroluminescence elements, wherein: a part of the bank is sunken into the contact holes, concavities on the upper surface of the bank above the contact holes are in one-to-one correspondence with concavities of the contact holes, a light-emitting layer is formed within the openings and the concavities on the upper surface of the bank, and the upper surface of the bank having the concavities is lower than a lower surface of the light-emitting layer. |
