The present invention relates to a positive electrode current collector, a positive electrode tab protruding from the positive electrode current collector, a positive electrode comprising an insulating layer coated with an insulating material on the positive electrode tab, and a secondary battery comprising the same. The positive electrode according to the present invention comprises the insulating layer on the positive electrode tab, thereby being capable of preventing physical short of a positive electrode and a negative electrode caused by contraction of a separator in internal short or high temperature environment which can be generated when arranging an electrode in which an edge of the electrode is sharpening up because of deformation of a cell or abscission of the electrode during a manufacturing process of the electrode. When applying the same to the secondary battery, stability and reliability of cell performances can be significantly improved.
