PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a dummy rubber plug inserted into a vacant cavity of a waterproof connector from being pushed to the outside of the cavity to come off, and to also hold a seal function of the dummy rubber plug.SOLUTION: A dummy rubber plug comprises a cylinder part having a hollow part continuous in a lengthwise direction to be inserted into a vacant cavity, a vent valve with a truncated chevron-shaped cross section projecting toward the opposite direction of an insertion direction into the vacant cavity and a center axis direction of the cylinder part is installed around an inner surface of the cylinder part forming the hollow part, when the dummy rubber plug is inserted into the vacant cavity of the waterproof connector, the vent valve is pressed in an inner peripheral direction, an opening on a projection end side of the vent valve is closed, on the other hand, when pneumatic pressure in the hollow part is raised at a state that the dummy rubber plug is inserted into the vacant cavity, the opening of the vent valve is expanded, and the air in the hollow part is discharged to the outside. |
