PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beautiful, graceful figured fabric achieving a fine expression, a remarkably voluminous feeling, an excellent texture, a pictorial three-dimensional feeling, a feeling of distance and so on by variation in shape.SOLUTION: A pictorial multi-ply woven fabric with mixed layers having different structures includes different type woven structures 5 of plain weave, twill weave and satin weave types each formed in any number of layers 6 and any order of the layers and has variation in the shape of a woven fabric surface such that figured surfaces are mixedly arranged according to a design. A process of converting design information into woven fabric data for weaving a figured fabric having a multilayer structure with mixed layers having different structures by using a loom mounted with a jacquard machine includes a manufacturing process system including: the preparation of the design information; the conversion of the design information into woven fabric information; the preparation of various woven fabric information and weaving guide information on the design information such as the preparation of a weaving instruction guide; and the preparation of jacquard machine information. |
