PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a state recognition device capable of more accurately recognizing a state of a space.SOLUTION: The state recognition device includes: a first filter unit which allows signal components caused by activities of living beings to pass through by subjecting a time series signal obtained by remote measurement of a space to filtering processing by a first cutoff frequency; a second filter unit which allows signal components based on biological information on the living beings to pass through by subjecting the time series signal to filtering processing by a second cutoff frequency different from the first cutoff frequency; an amplitude component extraction unit which extracts a first feature quantity relating to amplitude components from the signal which has passed the first filter unit and/or the second filter unit; a frequency component extraction unit which extracts a second feature quantity relating to frequency components from the signal which has passed the first filter unit and/or the second filter unit; and a recognition unit which uses the first feature quantity and the second feature quantity to recognize the state of the space.
