PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge head capable of preventing a case in which, with increase of density, an adhesive protrudes to an adjoining thick wall part in a nozzle array direction, resulting in connection of adhesives together.SOLUTION: A vibration plate member 3 includes a thin wall part 30 containing a first layer only, and a thick wall parts 31, 32 in which a second layer and a third layer are formed in the first layer. A drive post of a piezoelectric member is jointed to the thick wall part 31 by an adhesive. A non-driving part is jointed to the thick wall part 32 by an adhesive. In the thick wall part 31, a split groove part 31c is formed in the nozzle array direction. In the direction orthogonal to the nozzle array direction, a plurality of island parts 31a, 31a are split-formed. At the thick wall part 32, an island part 32a is split-formed which is made independent by two split groove parts 32c. |
