PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing pad which inhibits adverse effects caused by deformation of the bering pad and enables easy assembly.SOLUTION: A bearing pad includes: a bearing pad body 24 having a pad surface 24p which supports a rotation shaft; a reinforcement plate 50 provided along an end surface 24a which intersects with an outer edge of a pad surface 24p of the bearing pad body 24 and extending in a direction along the pad surface 24p; and a fixing member 51 which fixes the reinforcement plate 50 to the end surface 24a at one end part 50a and the other end part 50b when viewed in the direction along the pad surface 24p and an intermediate part 50c between the one end part 50a and the other end part 50b.
