PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a laminate film that may improve an interlayer adhesion between a substrate and a functional layer formed on its surface provided with a certain function by forming a carbon nucleus adhered on the surface of the substrate previously and a laminate film obtained by the production method.SOLUTION: A production method of a laminate film comprising: a plasma treatment step for conducting a plasma treatment on a surface of a substrate plastic film previously under a circumstance of a pressure of 1×10Torr to 1×10Torr; and a functional film deposition step for depositing a functional film having certain function on the surface treated with the plasma treatment step, in which the plasma treatment is a vacuum discharge plasma treatment, which is conducted by introducing a gas containing carbon.
