The disclosure of the present specification relates to a process authenticating method and an apparatus thereof and, more specifically, to a process authenticating method and an apparatus thereof in a computing device to operate an application loaded on a memory by a process. The method for authenticating the process of an electronic device according to one embodiment of the present disclosure includes the steps of: receiving a message requesting the authentication of a process; obtaining the unique information of the process from an operating system of the process in response to the request; comparing the obtained unique information with unique information which is previously stored in the memory; and determining the success of the process authentication in case of the identification of two unique information. |
