Use of a gestagen in combination with an oestrogen and one or more pharmaceutically acceptable excipients/media for lactose-free oral contraception

Composition for lactose-free oral contraceptive, comprises: 2 mg dienogest in combination with 0.03 mg ethinyl estradiol, 58.425 mg microcrystalline cellulose, 9 mg hypromellose, 15 mg corn starch, 6 mg maltodextrin and 0.9 mg magnesium stearate. The different types of microcrystalline cellulose comprising Avicel PH 101 (RTM: Microcrystalline cellulose), Avicel PH 102 (RTM: Microcrystalline cellulose) and Avicel PH 112 (RTM: Microcrystalline cellulose) is used, and the progestin and the estrogen is granulated with a binder, in which lactose is not present.
