<p>A comparator for use in improving the water quality of a body of water, such as a swimming pool, pond, aquarium, spa, hot tub, or other body of water, is disclosed. The comparator is adapted for comparing one or more results, whereby the or each result corresponds to a measured parameter indicative of water quality. The comparator may be further adapted to indicate a quantitative dosage of a water treating agent required to improve the quality of the water, responsive to one or more of the measured parameter(s). The comparator comprises at least one movable portion which, when moved to the result of the parameter measured, indicates the quantitative dosage of water treating agent to be used. The quantitative dosage may be indicated in a number of ways, such as by weight or volume, or by some other form of discrete measurement (such as a bag, bottle, sachet, tablet, etc).</p> |
