A transport transmission coupler arrangement, in particular in relation to a signal box for the rail industry, is described. A coupler 12 includes a connector 26 having transmission lines such as cables or wires 28 secured thereto. Each of the transmission lines 28 has a free end which may have a connector 36 which is fastened to lugs 38 projecting from the base 14 of the signal box. The connector 26 may be fast with a mounting plate 30 which is connected to a side wall 22 of the signal box. The connector 26 and transmission lines 28 of different lengths may be rotated in order to effect the connection of the coupler to the signal box. In use the coupler 12 is arranged to cooperate with a further coupler to connect with the transmission lines 28. The coupler may include a hollow, threaded portion 32 through which the transmission lines 28 extend. |
