PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve production cost reduction and weight saving by improving adhesion efficiency of a coating material to a tank body, to reduce industrial waste treatment cost by reducing the coating material that is industrial waste, and to contribute to environmental conservation.SOLUTION: When a tank body 1 comprises one tank half body 1a and the other tank half body 1b so as to store fuel, a thin film coating layer 2 is formed on the surface of the one tank half body 1a by immersing the one tank half body 1a into a first coating tank 5 filled with a low-viscosity water-based coating composition 5-1 diluted at a comparatively high dilution rate, and next, a thick film coating layer 3 is formed on the surface of the other tank half body 1b by immersing the other tank half body 1b into a second coating tank 6 filled with a high-viscosity water-based coating composition 6-1 diluted at a comparatively low dilution rate by inverting the tank body 1. |
