<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a pair of frames facing each other across an image forming unit; a housing 2 having a side cover 22 covering an outside surface of a frame arranged on one side with respect to the image forming unit; a read unit 10 which is arranged above the housing 2 and turns with respect to the housing 2 so as to be opened or closed; an arm 100 arranged on one side with respect to the image forming unit, having one end turnably connected to the housing and the other end slidably connected to the read unit 10; and a guide 200 arranged in the read unit 10 to support the other end of the arm 100 slidably. The read unit 10 includes an outside wall part 11A covering a side face outside of the guide 200 in a facing direction of the frames. The outside wall part 11A overlaps the side cover 22 as seen from the facing direction when the read unit 10 is closed.</p> |
