摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing apparatus and a manufacturing method for a differential thickness steel plate in which equipment cost can be lowered and a manufacturing speed can be increased.SOLUTION: A manufacturing apparatus 1 for a differential thickness steel plate comprises: a mill 10 having a rolling device; a heating apparatus 15 which is provided on an inlet side of the mill and heats a rolled material; a heating rate control device 20 which controls a thermal dose in the heating apparatus; tension loading devices 13, 28 which load tension to the rolled material on either an inlet side or an outlet side of the mill; and a tension control device 20 which controls the tension loaded onto the rolled material by the tension loading devices. The heating rate control device and the tension control device change the thermal dose in the heating apparatus and the tension in the tension loading devices, during rolling of the rolled material, in accordance with a target thickness pattern relevant to distribution of thicknesses of the differential thickness steel plate, which is to be manufactured by the manufacturing device, in a rolling direction.
