An embodiment provides a method for evaluating a luminance of a light source. The method comprises the steps of acquiring first data by measuring the luminance of the light source; converting the first data to second data corresponding to a plurality of unit cells; calculating a moving average of the second data; and acquiring a ripple factor. The ripple factor is (Draw-Ma)/Ma, where Draw is the second data and Ma is the moving average.
