<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify a user of update of predetermined software at appropriate timing.SOLUTION: An information processing device comprises a rechargeable battery and a processor. The processor detects start of charging of the rechargeable battery, and when start of charging is detected, notifies a user of execution of update of predetermined software. Also, when the user authorizes update of the predetermined software, the processor determines whether a charged amount of the rechargeable battery is less than a predetermined charged amount, when the charged amount of the rechargeable battery is equal to or more than the predetermined charged amount, starts rewriting processing using update data of the predetermined software, and when the charged amount of the rechargeable battery is less than the predetermined charged amount, delays the rewriting processing using the update data of the predetermined software until the charged amount of the rechargeable battery becomes equal to or more than the predetermined charged amount.</p> |
