PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiver having no necessity to allow a user to discriminate whether a first high frequency terminal and a second high frequency terminal are an input terminal or an output terminal.SOLUTION: A HDD recorder 100 includes: a tuner 11 for receiving the input of a broadcast signal and performing channel selection; a first high frequency terminal T1 and a second high frequency terminal T2; changeover units (a distributor 3 and a switch 4) for performing changeover between a first signal route to transmit a broadcast signal to be transmitted from the first high frequency terminal T1 to the tuner 11 and the second high frequency terminal T2 and a second signal route to transmit a broadcast signal to be transmitted from the second high frequency terminal T2 to the tuner 11 and the first high frequency terminal T1; and a route control unit 14c for controlling the changeover units to change over the first signal route and the second signal route on the basis of a comparison result between the reception sensitivities of broadcast signals to be respectively input by the first high frequency terminal T1 and the second high frequency terminal T2. |
