摘要 Disclosed is a technology related to a synthetic aperture beamforming method and apparatus for interpolating a time delay. The synthetic aperture beamforming method according to an embodiment receives multiple channel data included in a supersonic signal which is focused to an object, transmitted and reflected; uses the channel data as sub-aperture to generate partial beams focused by differentiating the time delay of each channel data by the channel; and synthesizes the generated partial beams to generate a synthesized beam of the scan line unit, wherein a representative partial beam among the partial beams is generated by calculating a delay time value of the channel data at every regular interval; interpolated partial beams except the representative partial beam among the partial beams are generated by using a value interpolated from the delay time value of an adjacent representative delay time; and the synthesized beam of the scan line unit is generated by synthesizing the representative beam and the interpolated partial beams.
