1. A method of producing mesenchymal stem cells in an undifferentiated state originating from a human or from a non-human mammal, the method comprising:
preparing an artificially synthesized peptide for promoting proliferation of at least one kind of mesenchymal stem cell in an undifferentiated state; and supplying the synthesized peptide at least once to the mesenchymal stem cell subjected to proliferation; wherein: the artificially synthesized peptide comprises: (A) an amino acid sequence consisting of SEQ ID NO: 14; and (B) an amino acid sequence consisting of SEQ ID NO: 20, or an N-terminal partial amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 20, or a C-terminal partial amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 20, wherein: the N-terminal partial amino acid sequence consists of five or more consecutive amino acid residues counting from the N-terminal amino acid residue of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 20, and the C-terminal partial amino acid sequence consists of five or more consecutive amino acid residues counting from the C-terminal amino acid residue of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 20. |
