PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording device equipped with a carrying device which certainly detects sheets on a carrying path and does not prevent smooth carrying.SOLUTION: An image recording device is equipped with a carrying portion 80, an inside guide member 19 formed with a first carrying surface, and a sensor unit 70 for detecting sheets. The sensor unit 70 has a sensor housing 71 in which an outer surface of an upper wall 71A exposed from the inside guide member 19 configures a second carrying surface ranging to the first carrying surface; a moving member 72 having an abutting portion 76 for projecting out to the second carrying surface side of the upper wall 71A through a notch 71C provided on the upper wall 71A, and a detected portion 77 positioned in the inside of the sensor housing 71; and signal output portions 73 and 74 for outputting signals according to the position of the detected portion 77. The moving member 72 moves from a first position to a second position with sheets carried on the second carrying surface abut on the abutting portion 76. |
