The process involves programming coordinates of a target (3) into a fixed terrestrial reference (4) before firing or on trajectory, and determining the orientation of direction of action (WH) in the fixed terrestrial reference on the trajectory. The initiation of an attack module (2) e.g. projectile, is authorized, if the direction of action is oriented in the direction of target. The determination of the orientation of the direction of action is made by measuring the orientation of the attack module with respect to the components of the terrestrial magnetic field. An independent claim is also included for an initiation control device for an attack module. |
