A deformable floor substructure for a helicopter, for absorbing impact energy without transmitting the energy to the crew or passengers, has at least one first longitudinal member, at least one cross member and an anchoring device connecting the two members at a point of intersection. The anchoring device comprises at least one local permanent deformation section lying in a plane crosswise to the floor substructure for dissipating the energy transmitted to the substructure in the event of impact. The deformation section comprises a closed contour surrounding the point of intersection at a predetermined distance, the closed contour being defined by four elementary portions arranged in pairs. The elementary portions are identical in a pairwise symmetrical manner about an axis through the point of intersection and perpendicular to the directions of the members, and the anchoring device is of constant section in planes perpendicular to said axis. |
