<p>The system has a holding mechanism comprising a set of flat belts (E) that encircle a cylindrical shaped product. A belt tensioning mechanism (F) compensates variations in diameter of the product. An actuator moves the belt such that the product is allowed to rotate about an axis perpendicular to a support (D). A rotary cutting blade i.e. comma blade, moves linearly along a vertical axis (B) or a horizontal axis (A) relative to the axis of rotation of the product for allowing portion of the product to be cut.</p> |
