An electric power conversion system includes: a primary circuit including a first port, a second port and a primary electric power conversion unit; and a secondary circuit magnetically coupled to the primary circuit by a transformer and including a third port, a fourth port and a secondary electric power conversion unit. The electric power conversion system is configured to convert electric power between any two of the four ports with the use of the primary and secondary electric power conversion units, and convert electric power between the first and second ports and between the third and fourth ports with the use of electric power conversion circuit portions other than a faulty electric power conversion circuit portion among a plurality of electric power conversion circuit portions configured in the primary and secondary electric power conversion units.

a primary circuit including a first port, a second port and a primary electric power conversion unit; and a secondary circuit magnetically coupled to the primary circuit by a transformer, the secondary circuit including a third port, a fourth port and a secondary electric power conversion unit, wherein the primary electric power conversion unit and the secondary electric power conversion unit are configured to convert electric power between any two of the four ports, and electric power conversion circuit portions other than a faulty electric power conversion circuit portion among a plurality of electric power conversion circuit portions configured in the primary electric power conversion unit and the secondary electric power conversion unit are configured to convert electric power between the first port and the second port and between the third port and the fourth port.
