<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that a torque larger than a start torque required under normal temperature is necessary when starting a stepping motor under a low temperature because the stickiness of grease increases, but a sufficient start torque cannot be generated by a conventional starting method, and there is a risk that the stepping motor cannot be started smoothly.SOLUTION: When a determination is made that the temperature of a stepping motor is lower than a predetermined set temperature, a current is conducted continuously through an exciting coil built in the stepping motor, so that the stepping motor is heated and the stickiness of grease decreases.</p> |
