FIELD: machine building.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the machine-building, in particular to the methods of connecting flexible belts, including conveyer belts. The method of connecting belts consists in the removal of the protective covers from the ends of belts to be connected, separation of fabric liners from each other, separation of fabric liners to separate strips, application of connecting material to the surfaces to be connected, application of protective covers, in compression and vulcanisation of the belts ends. The fabric liners of any belt end to be connected shall be separated to make the longitudinal strips displacing the cutting lines and the longitudinal strips of the neighbouring liners in transverse direction with respect to each other. The longitudinal strips of every belt end to be connected shall be made with different lengths. The longitudinal strips of external fabric liners shall be made of lesser length than the longitudinal strips of inner fabric liners. A thickness of the connecting material layer equals a distance between the fabric liners in a belt.EFFECT: increased strength and durability of the belt connections are ensured.5 cl, 8 dwg |
