<p>The invention provides a support frame comprising a plurality of support legs (3) and a centre pole (1), wherein, when the support frame is in a collapsed condition, the centre pole (1) lies in juxtaposition relationship with the support legs (3) and, when the support frame is in an erected condition, the centre pole (1) is spaced from the support legs (3) and is arranged above head height, or substantially so, above a support surface on which the support frame stands. The support legs (3) and the centre pole (1) are interconnected by a series of legribs (2) and associated rigging (23) whereby, when the support frame having three support legs (3) forms a triangulated support for layers of fabric (30) thereby creating a canopy that may be erected by one person in less than a few minutes. A handle may be provided for erecting the frame and a loop may be provided for use in collapsing the frame.</p> |
