The method involves obtaining two classes (A, B) including well-defined granulometric distributions by sieving an abrasive. The classes are mixed in well defined proportions knowing that the granulometric distributions of each class and respective percentages are defined as a function of drilling work, cutting or planning to be performed, nature and origin of the abrasive, nature of a material to be machined, and conditions related to nature of fluid, pressure and implemented flow. Additives such as dyes, fluid cryogens and nano-particles, are added. An independent claim is also included for an installation for application of a method for obtaining a reconstituted abrasive.
