A method and a system for efficiently playing complex contents having a plurality of different component contents using a plurality of terminals when a recipient of the contents is capable of viewing the plurality of terminals are provided. The complex contents providing method of the contents providing system according to the present invention includes: a step of registering a terminal group comprising a plurality of terminals; a step of receiving complex contents having a plurality of different component contents; a step of designating one among terminals of the terminal group as a terminal for playing for each of the plurality of component contents included in the complex contents; and a step of transmitting the each component contents to the each terminal for playing.
