摘要 The present invention concerns power allocation for a multi-carrier system encompassing multiple interfering links. Hence, in embodiments of the present invention the powers used on the different spectrum resources/bands/subcarriers are adjusted such that each user meets a target sum-rate, i.e. the sum of the rates over the available channels on one or more links (carriers). In this way, a power and rate control is achieved that incorporates the aspect of multiple bands and/or subcarriers.
