<p>The deflection circuit, for an oscilloscope, consists of two complementary pushpull drive transistors coupled by their emitters to the deflection coil and supplied from positive and negative drive stages. The negative drive stage contains a pnp transistor (49) whose emitter is coupled to the base of the pnp pushpull transistor (69). The positive drive stage contains an npn transistor (59) whose emitter is coupled to the base of the npn pushpull transistor (67). A series chain of diodes (41, 43, 45) connects together the bases of the two drive stage transistors. The output of the input amplifier (29) is connected to one end of this chain.</p> |
