<p>An edge crack measuring system of a coil and a method thereof are provided to grasp the generating factor of an edge crack by measuring the edge crack image of the coil with moving a camera along the traveling direction of a plurality of coils. An edge crack measuring system of a coil comprises: a camera part(400) measuring the edge crack image of the coil; a image converting part(500) converting the measured edge crack image into an digital image; a crack information detection part(600) detecting crack information from the converted digital image; a data storage part(700) storing the detected crack information data in database; and a driving part(300) in which the camera part moves along the traveling direction of the first coil and the second coil. The driving part comprises: a first driving part(310) moving the camera part in the traveling direction of the first coil and the second coil or the opposite direction to the traveling direction; a second driving part(320) moving the camera part at a right angle to the traveling direction of the first coil and the second coil; and a third driving part(330) converting the traveling direction of the camera part into the opposite direction.</p> |
