The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of a curved display panel using a flat display panel and a curved display panel using the same. A manufacturing method of a curved display panel includes: a step of cutting a part of outer side to reduce the thickness of one between a first substrate and a second substrate to a predetermined thickness in a flat display panel having the first substrate, the second substrate and a liquid crystal layer which is formed in between the first and second substrates; a step of forming a distance maintenance layer by attaching a semi-solid reinforcement material to the outer side of a protection member which is manufactured to be suitable for a predetermined curve shape; a step of bending the flat display panel which has the cut outer side into a display panel which has a curved shape with a predetermined radius of curvature; and a step of adhering the flat display panel and protection member to make the outer side of the flat display panel cut into the predetermined thickness and the distance maintenance layer. |
