Class 38 (v) A contact for a fuse-holder or switch comprises a tongue piece shaped to form a pair of substantially parallel parts d having bent-over ends f adapted to be inserted between two rigid contacts (not shown), a helical spring g being arranged between the ends f to increase the contact pressure. The spring is arranged in a metal sleeve h located in holes in the parts d, a spacing collar i being formed or mounted on the sleeve. In a modification, Fig. 4 (not shown), the ends f are bent-over inwards and the spring bears on the parts d, the sleeve passing through holes in the ends f. |
