The present invention relates to a method for degrading soil contaminated by oil pollutants and non-biodegradable organic pollutants among pollutants in soil by electron beam irradiation. The method for degrading soil is characterized by treating soil contaminated by an organic solvent with an oxidizing agent and irradiating the soil with an electron beam. According to the present invention, the method for degrading soil has the advantages of environmentally friendly and quick treatment of soil and sedimentary soil which have been contaminated by non-biodegradable organic pollutants while shortening purification time by using an electron beam irradiation technology; and of minimizing the effect of pollutants on the environment to reduce environmental pollution.
