Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for transmitting and receiving performance information of a terminal in a mobile communications system. The method for transmitting and receiving the performance information of the terminal in the mobile communications system according to the present invention includes the steps of: generating the performance information with at least one SBWC bit map and SBC information relates to a possible frequency band combination; and reporting the performance information to a base station. Wherein, the SBC information includes at least one band parameter related to each frequency band in the frequency band combination. Each band parameter includes a band indicator to identify the corresponding band, at least one downlink BWC information, and at least one uplink BWC information. The downlink BWC information and the uplink BWC information represent the maximum number of serving cells which are set and the maximum sum bandwidth of the corresponding link.
