One embodiment of the present invention relates to a rechargeable battery which induces the deformation of a cap plate due to a load applied to the end side part of a case to the outside of the case. A rechargeable battery according to one embodiment of the present invention includes an electrode assembly which has a charge/discharge function, a case which has the electrode assembly, a cap plate which is combined with the case, and an electrode terminal which is installed at the terminal hole of the cap plate. The cap plate includes at least one opening, and a bending induction groove which has a groove and is arranged from one side of the opening to the end part of the cap plate. |
