<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a method for safely protecting touch events from hacking by allowing operation systems to control a touch panel independently in order to prevent the touch events from being hacked through a host operating system; and a portable terminal implementing the same.SOLUTION: A touch event processing method of a portable terminal having a first operating system and a second operating system comprises: receiving, at the first operating system, touch coordinates from a touch panel of the portable terminal; determining whether a function corresponding to the received touch coordinates is to execute a security application; if the function corresponding to the received touch coordinates is to execute the security application, transmitting to the second operating system a message for handover of a right of processing a touch event generated on the touch panel.</p> |
