<p>Method for controlling a cleaning operation in which a plurality of hotel rooms (300) are cleaned by a plurality of cleaning staff members according to a schedule based upon information about room occupancy received from the hotel. The method comprises the following steps: a) providing a set of possible cleaning tasks; b) determining an initial cleaning schedule; d) calculating, for each respective cleaning staff member and based upon said cleaning schedule, digital personal cleaning information, and communicating this information to a respective electronic device (120) of each respective member; e) providing a graphical user interface, presenting said personal cleaning information, and comprising input means for registering performed cleaning information; g) receiving and monitoring cleaning progress information; j) determining an updated cleaning schedule; k) calculating, communicating and displaying updated digital personal cleaning information during the cleaning operation.</p> |
