<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional digital broadcast receiver in which a fact that a program being received at present or to be received in the future is a three-dimensional (3D) program has not been recognized by the receiver.SOLUTION: A digital content receiver receives transmitted digital contents. The digital contents include component information indicating at least elements constituting the program of the contents. When the component information indicates that the received digital contents are 3D components, the receiver determines whether or not display means is compatible with the displaying of the 3D components. When the display means is compatible with the displaying of the 3D components, the received digital contents are three-dimensionally displayed.</p> |
